What will be taught:
We will learn how to create user personas for companies and groups to have a personal standpoint for their decision making.
Steps included:
- Determining which persona we want to create
- Decide on needed categories
- Sticky notes and affinity mapping
- Persona creation

With over a decade of management and coaching expertise, I’ve nurtured talent at leading companies like Zillow, lululemon, and Estee Lauder. Crafting UX career matrices and drawing from 15 years of induslry experience, I’ve aided career transitioners and honed my skills as an instructor at NCAD. As the lead curriculum developer for the AOS in UX at NCAD, I’ve played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of UX professionals. My diverse educational background in marketing, design, and research informs my design choices, while my adeptness in stakeholder management and hiring practices ensures collaborative success.
WORKSHOP 2 – Design Jam
What will be taught:
During the session, we will go through an entire design jam process, from determining the user problem that needs to be solved, to creating wireframes.
Steps included:
- Context setting and user problem discussion
- How Might We statements
- Sticky note ideation and voting
- Crazy S’s
- Wireframe creation
- Scrappy user testing
