Students – Learn the necessary elements of a strong art portfolio for application to NCAD with two of our faculty members – Susan Ogilvie and Derek Gundy. Susan is also the Director of Education and Derek works in Career Services, helping our students find internships and employment after graduating with a BFA in Visual Communication.

See previous portfolio examples of student work just before entering NCAD, and then witness the transformation of the work of those artists in their portfolios after graduation.

Participants should bring either a traditional or digital portfolio for sharing. We encourage all interested artists to come at any level of skill. At NCAD, we believe that these creative skills are learnable and teachable, much like playing a musical instrument.
